Bonaventure Cemetery, Savannah
This is one of my favorite cemetery postcards. From the couple out for a stroll to the lady with the parasol and the old guy in his straw hat, I just love to see people out enjoying the cemetery! I try to collect all the images of people in cemeteries that I see.
This unused postcard dates to before 1907. It has an undivided back (all dedicated to the mailing address) and just this little strip of space on the face for a message.
And the clothes! Is this winter in Georgia that people are wearing long sleeves and jackets?
